Benicia Christmas Bird Count – Monday, December 15, 2025 – Join a Team!

We’d be delighted if you could join us for a day of birding at this year’s Benicia Christmas Bird Count (BCBC). The Benicia Count was founded in 1930 (95 years ago!) and this year Tom Slyker and Robin Leong are organizing this FUN event. The BCBC count circle includes the communities of Benicia, East Vallejo, Cordelia, West Suisun City, as well as parts of Grizzly Island and all of Grizzly Bay.  We will have many teams birding the area, with experienced team leaders and various levels of hiking & walking involved. Be sure to let Tom know the type of surface & the level of exercise that would be best for you and we will match you with a count team suited to your request.
