Membership

Napa-Solano Audubon Society (NSAS) has two types of members:
Chapter Members and National Members

Chapter Members: By becoming a Chapter Member, you provide support for our local education programs, citizen science projects, and conservation activities. You will also receive all 3 editions of our Song Sparrow Newsletter. Additionally, you are invited to special events and field trips open only to Chapter members, and you receive discounts on books and other items. But most importantly, ALL of your Chapter membership dues are used to support our local education and conservation efforts! To receive the Audubon Magazine you must also join National Audubon. If you are interested in signing up for notifications for field trips and bird walks, or to volunteer on any projects (as described below), go to the green “Activity Sign-up” button at the top of this page.

We are encouraging members to renew electronically, to reduce volunteer workload, paperwork and cost. Your tax-deductible membership will continue through the date of your payment next year. You can sign up for auto renewal (which reduces volunteer workload) using a credit card or PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account. You can cancel auto renewal at any time.

National Members are those who join the National Audubon Society and subscribe to Audubon magazine. If you live in our area, your National membership automatically places you on our mailing list if you have provided your address and email, and you should also receive a copy of our Fall Chapter Newsletter, the Song Sparrow. In order to save paper and due to rising costs, for future editions of The Song Sparrow, please send your email address to  . National members are welcome to participate in most of our chapter activities. However, for full access to field trips and other events, please join our Napa Solano Audubon Chapter as well!
